ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Born on March 20 ,1967 in Motor City, Detroit, Michigan. John Grogan lived in a neighborhood that was called Harbor Hills. One of the first things he has done was working at the church nearby as a office boy. He started to write because he was bad at everything else. Math,French, geometry, Etc he all failed. Later in 8th grade we was penning parodies of the nuns and in for high school he was writing the school newspaper. John Grogan's got his full-time job in 1979. He was hired as a police reporter. John had lots of fun being a police reporter. In 1985 john won a fellowship into the Kiplinger Mid-Career Program in Public Affairs Reporting at Ohio State University. A couple months later John got married to Jenny. Afterwards John wrote Marley & Me, which sold 5 million copies as a book.
